2024 Election Information

On November 5, 2024, a General District Election for Walnut Valley Water District (WVWD) is scheduled to be held in Divisions 1, 4, and 5. A five-member Board of Directors governs the District, each representing one of five divisions. The Directors serve overlapping four-year terms.
Nomination Process
To become a candidate, you must first be issued Nomination Papers by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorders/County Clerk’s Office. The Nomination Papers filing period will begin on Monday, July 15, 2024, and close on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
All Nomination papers must be returned and filed with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorders/County Clerk’s Office. The Walnut Valley Water District CANNOT accept the completed Nomination Papers.
