Developer Resources

The Engineering Services counter is located in the Administrative Office (back building) of the WVWD headquarters located at 271 South Brea Canyon Road in Walnut. Please note the Engineering Services counter requires an appointment. Below are the hours of operation and contact information.

Monday-Thursday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm by appointment only.

New housing and development projects in the WVWD service area must follow the procedures and rules detailed below. WVWD is providing this information in accordance with Assembly Bill (AB) 1483, pertaining to transparency for residential development regulations and costs.

Development Charges

Development Charges

The Capacity Charge will be imposed on any property requesting a new or larger connection. The imposed fee will be based on meter size for new development and additional fixture units for existing connections. The rates for the Capacity Charge are shown below and may be adjusted for inflation each year.
