Money for Teachers!

September 28, 2023

The 2023-2024 Splash Cash Program is now accepting applications. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 27th at 3:30 p.m. All applications must be submitted by a K-12 educator online at pwagcet.org/splash-cash.

This a program sponsored by Walnut Valley Water District (WVWD) through its participation in the Public Water Agencies Group (PWAG) Conservation & Education Team. The purpose of the Splash Cash program is to improve and supplement K-12 education by awarding up to $1,200 for creative water-related educational software, activities, or supplies needed to assist teachers with the classroom or virtual learning environment and promote water education and conservation throughout Los Angeles County. PWAG CET’s financial contribution to teachers allows for purposefully created programs that help increase students’ understanding of water in the region, Southern California, and beyond.

K-12 teachers at schools in PWAG CET’s service areas are eligible to participate in the Splash Cash Grant Program. This includes the Walnut Valley Unified School District, Rowland Unified School District, and the Pomona Unified School District. Grant applications will be accepted from all teachers, individually or from a group of teachers, regardless of the subject area(s) taught.

More information regarding the types of projects that are accepted, the awarding criteria, the scoring rubric, and more is available at pwagcet.org/splash-cash.
