Application for New or Upgraded Water Service for Single-Family Residential

Before You Apply 

Please prepare the following information and documents before proceeding with the online application.  

You may also download the sample application form to familiarize yourself with all required fields and ensure you have the necessary information ready prior to starting the online application:  

Application Information 

• Property address 

• APN 

• Tract/Parcel Number 

• Lot Number 

• Owner, project manager, and contractor contact information 

Project Information 

• Scope of work (e.g., new build, remodel, ADU, demo/rebuild, fire sprinkler, irrigation) 

• Type of service requested (new, additional, relocate, or upsize meter) 

Plans & Documents (Must Be to Scale) 

• Architectural plan 

• Plumbing plan 

• Construction schedule 

• Fire sprinkler plans (if applicable) 

• Landscape irrigation plans (if applicable) 

Water Use Information 

Complete and upload the Water Customer Data Sheet for all fixtures. Submit separate forms for main residence and ADU (if applicable).  

Fire Protection Information (If Applicable) 

• Required fire flow demand (GPM) 

• Fire Department Approval Information (Fire Prevention Engineer, Approval date) 

• Provide approved or preliminary fire sprinkler plans. Approved plans must be submitted once available to complete the project.

Landscape Irrigation Information (If Applicable) 

• Landscape area (sq. ft.) 

• Total irrigation demand (GPM) 

• Irrigation plans 

Cross-Connection & Safety Requirements 

• Acknowledge compliance with District cross-connection control requirements 

• Complete the hazard assessment questionnaire as part of the application

What Happens Next 

Once your application and all required documents are submitted, an Engineer will review your request and contact you with next steps.
