WVWD Shares 2024 Water Quality Report
June 17, 2025
Walnut Valley Water District (WVWD) is proud to share its 2024 Annual Water Quality Report, also known as the Consumer Confidence Report. This report shows that the water we deliver to our customers is clean, safe, and meets all state and federal standards.
Every year, WVWD tests the water more than 17,000 times to make sure it is safe to drink. These tests check for over 80 different things that could be in the water. The results show that our water is better than the rules require.
“We work hard every day to bring safe and high-quality water to our community,” said Sheryl L. Shaw, General Manager of WVWD. “This report shows our promise to protect public health and be transparent with our customers.”
The report also explains:
- Where your water comes from
- What’s in your water
- How we keep it clean
WVWD serves nearly 100,000 people in Diamond Bar and portions of Walnut, Industry, Pomona, West Covina, and Rowland Heights. All of our drinking water comes from trusted sources like the State Water Project (located in Northern California) and the Colorado River Aqueduct.
More water quality information is available on the WVWD Water Quality webpage.
