Election Season: What to Know

Walnut Valley Water District (WVWD) is a public agency and remains neutral in elections for seats on its Board of Directors. The District does not endorse, support, or oppose any candidate for election, whether that individual is a current Board member or a new candidate.

Candidates may take photographs in areas of District property that are open to the public. The appearance of District facilities, signage, logos, employees, or other District property in campaign materials does not represent or imply an endorsement, sponsorship, or support by WVWD, its Board of Directors, or District staff.

Individual current or former Board members may choose to personally endorse candidates. Any such endorsement represents the views of that individual and does not constitute an endorsement or position of Walnut Valley Water District or its Board of Directors as a governing body.

WVWD is committed to providing the community with impartial information and maintaining its neutrality throughout the election process.
