WVWD to Host Community Informational Meetings on Rate Structure & Water System Reliability

Walnut, CA — August 19, 2024 — Walnut Valley Water District (WVWD) welcomes the public to a series of Water Rates Community Meetings to discuss the District’s 2025-2029 rate study. These meetings will offer an opportunity for community members to learn more about how the District sets its rates and ensures the reliability and sustainability of its water system.

All meetings will be held in-person at WVWD’s Board Room, located at 271 S Brea Canyon Rd, Walnut, CA.
Understanding the Rate Study and Process
The District’s rate study, conducted by an independent consultant, IB Consulting, is a detailed analysis that helps determine the appropriate rate structure for water services. It considers operational costs, infrastructure maintenance, and future improvements.
